Contest Rules

(The legalese that lets everyone know who is eligible and how often you can win)

The Z periodically conducts contests.

1. Terms & Eligibility
• By participating in any contest, contestants agree to obey all contest rules.
• Contests are open to all listeners and there is no purchase necessary. 
• Participants and their households are eligible to win once every 90 Days. This restriction does not include random drawings, such as our Z Music Crew drawings. 
• Employees of TheZ, volunteers and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
• To participate in our regular contests, you must call the studio line at (866) 441-HITS (4487), unless otherwise specified.

2.  Prizes
• TheZ is not responsible for any event that may be postponed or cancelled, and will not replace any prize that cannot be fulfilled due to such cancellation.
• Any additional costs related to prizes or incurred, as results of accepting a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• Prizes may not be substituted or transferred, except by TheZ, prize donors or sponsors for reasons of unavailability. In which case, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
• Winner agrees to accept any and all prizes "as-is," and to release TheZ and its representatives from any and all liability, damages, injuries, cost expenses (including but not limited to medical expenses).

3.  Receipt of Prizes
• Prizes may be either picked up at our offices or mailed to your address.
• If the prize(s) are mailed by TheZ, the winner assumes all risk of loss, theft, late or miss-delivery.
• Any prize valued over $100.00 will be required to be picked up.
• In the case with concert tickets, they may either be available at "will call" one hour before the starting time of the concert or need to be picked up at our offices.
• If the prize involves concert or event tickets to be held for the winner at the event, the inability of winner to claim tickets at the event will result in forfeiture.

4. Conditions/Restrictions
• Winners may be required to produce identification in order to claim a prize.
• All calls to the studio request line are recorded, and may be aired live or at any time by TheZ. By participating in any contests, the winner agrees to permit TheZ to use their name, likeness, and/or voice without prior notice or compensation, for promotional purposes in broadcast, print, and electronic forms.
• TheZ retains the right to change the rules of any contest, which will become effective upon announcement.
• TheZ reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time. Decisions of TheZ are final.
